From the creators of the Boogie Knights, and The Spazmatics, comes Metalshop—an outrageously funny spoof of 1980s Heavy Metal Hair bands that rocked the crazy Hollywood Strip of yesteryear . Metal Shop features some of the best authentic LA musicians in the music scene. Although often referred to as a “band,” the Metalshop show is actually the brainchild of PWE producers who pick the cast members , direct in costuming & choreography, and contribute to semi – scripted comedy and other “schtick.” Since it’s debut in 1997, The expanded Metalshop act can be seen in different lineups spread all throughout the Country performing shows. Often copied, but never equalled, Metalshop has been pirated by many wannabes who are, in effect, paying tribute to another music era tribute act. So don’t be fooled by imitators!
